Expanding Research Horizons

The collaboration among researchers, including those from the United Kingdom's Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and Germany's Ralf Reski, Ph.D., extends the scope of the project. This international effort supports a deeper understanding of plant genome phylogeny, providing resources like expression mutant collections and advanced bioinformatics tools. Such contributions enable scientists to increasingly recognize the potential of the moss genome as a model for investigating traits such as drought tolerance and genetic transformation. This project opens doors to innovative methods for plant research and agricultural biotechnology.
